The Game's Upset Not Working With DJ Premier
"The only person I'm upset I didn't work with on this album is DJ Premier. I feel his shit would have been perfect for this all-star producer cast that I have. One Premier track would have did me just fine. I would have murdered that shit. But we ain't get it in, 'cause he was doing a whole bunch of shit for Christina Aguilera. I'm just Game. So I gotta just wait for the next album." -The GameSource: MTV.com
That Christina Aguilera shit didn't made the final album anyway.

THIS BLOG IS ABOUT TO CHANGE WITH YOUR HELP
I'm actually very proud on this blog I've created with DJ Premier related material but it was never my intention to be so big lol. I mean, I just started this blog for the people on the forum but next thing you know NahRight picked it up and then the hip hop magazines and at one point even TMZ.com LOL. I guess you can say I'm a journalist which I also didn't want to become, but I had to... With so many visitors I can't just type what I feel like I did in the beginning, I had to be objective. I miss that, but I took my responsibility towards DJ Premier lol. But on the other hand, I had great mails from great artists and fans that gave me motivation when I needed it. Because to be honest, I've been thinking of quitting a couple of times now to be honest. So shout out to everybody that kept me motivated! Enough about me.
I'm going to change this blog to a WordPress theme and to keep this message short and simple: what WordPress theme you want to see in the future for this blog? Give me your advise of what is perfect for a DJ Premier page. Because I don't give a fuck how this blog looks but if you do I would like you to recommend me one so I can make my visitors happy.
And second, you got a good domain name for this blog? Tell me!! I was thinking of djpremierplanet.com (to honor Don-RIF from Morocco) but if you got a better name, shoot!!
Thanks in advance!!

"Guru's Health Status Is Stable, Not In Coma"
Guru is diagnosed by his doctors as ailing from Anoxia due to his history of lung problems and asthma. Guru is NOT in coma and he continues too recover. The doctors are hopeful for a full recovery. Thoughts and prayers have been with legendary Hip-Hop emcee Guru since his hospitalization earlier this month due to a heart attack. Solar, the rapper's longtime partner and best friend, said Guru has a history of lung problems and asthma and is slowly recovering. Guru, born Keith Elam, recently disclosed his first statement, assuring the public that he is recuperating, and that his producer Solar will stand as his representative during his recovery. "I am doing fine and I am recovering! I'm weak though," Guru said. "Solar is the only person who has the accurate info on my situation. Any info from anybody else is false. I appreciate your well wishes and all the love! "The producer expressed similar sentiments about the rapper's health status, saying: "Guru is resting and doing well. The doctors say that he will fully recover from his illness. We thank everyone who send prayers our way and we appreciate the outpouring of love from fans around the world!" There are a lot of rumors and false allegations circulating around, but Guru explicitly named Solar his official spokesperson and the hit producer is taking this position very seriously. "Guru has entrusted me to be accurate and truthful in relaying information to the media," Solar said. The producer is in constant contact with Guru's relatives like the MC's father, and brother who have visited the legendary rapper numerous times. "When a patient is in such critical conditions it is very common that not everyone is allowed to enter the room, especially when Mr. Keith Elam doesn't want to see certain people," one of Guru's doctors said. Many Hip-Hop artists from around the world sent well wishes to Guru but some people from his past are trying to shed bad light on his partner Solar for his position in this situation. In a previous interview with AllHipHop.com, Guru made it clear that he and his former deejay and some people he used to work with were never that close. "People ask me about [...] all that. We were never all that close. We hooked up in the studio and did great music, but we were never hanging and all that cool. Solar and I, we got tight before we even started doing music." Guru, the sole founder of the world-famous Hip-Hop duo GangStarr, is reluctant to talk about his GangStarr past, especially his ex-DJ who he hasn't spoken to in over 7 years. "That's something I don't want to talk about. I don't want to talk about the past. The past is the past. It is what it is. It was great, but that was then and this is now." said Guru. Doctors have not given any indication as to when Guru might be released, but the rapper is touched by the fan support. "The outpouring of love from around the world has been tremendous," Solar said. "I'm reading some of the best e-mails, texts and Twitters that come in and Guru enjoys them. I think that's what has been helping his recovery and what's got him in there fighting." During what must be an incredibly hard and stressful period in life, keep sending your prayers, thoughts, and wishes to Guru, Solar and his loved ones.Source: yo-pr.com
I post this for those who wanna hear, I certainly don't. Lol at Superproducer Solar thinking DJ Premier is the reason why people hate him, no Superproducer Solar, something like that is called karma. -gimantalon

R.I.P. Jun "Nujabes" Seba
Nujabes (born Jun Seba), a Japanese hip-hop producer, was killed in a car accident in Tokyo. Nujabes crashed when leaving the Metropolitan Expressway in Tokyo's Minato Ward. Nujabes was 36 years old when he died. The car crash that killed Nujabes took place on February 26, 2010, the same day a magnitude 7.3 earthquake struck off the coast of Japan. Nujabes' death was only publicly confirmed by Hydeout Productions and by his friend and collaborator, Shing02, today; he was buried by his family in a private ceremony. Nujabes was the founder of Hydeout Productions, as well as the owner of two Tokyo record stores, Guinness Records and T Records. Nujabes (who came by his artistic name by spelling his real name backwards) also contributed music to the anime "Samurai Champloo", an anachronistic tale mixing samurai lore and modern hip-hop culture. Nujabes was a private person, and so many, even those who worked closely with him, did not know he had died. The common Internet death rumors did not make it to the English-speaking web, and this is a rare case in which an artist's actual death notice preceded the rumors.Damn, I was such a big fan of the man. Not only his music, but his character too. I remember when a hip hop fan got back from Japan they always asked him if he went to his record shop and took pictures of it and if they met Nujabes himself. Because it was so rarely to see him on image, he communicates with music like no one else did. His vinyl were always hard to get for non Japan heads, it was crazy how they were sold. The underground world really recognized him and always will, no doubt about it. He was one of the best hip hop producer of Japan and that is what he will always be remembered for, R.I.P. my friend, we'll miss you. 2010, damn...
Big up to Shing02 and his letter here, you can also leave a message for Nujabes over there. Stay strong my brother!

Kool Sphere (of Verbal Threat) - Supply & Demand (Feat. Smiley the Ghetto Child & Lil Dap) (Prod. by Weirdo)
Here we have a new exclusive track from Kool Sphere of Verbal Threat, and I really like it. It's featuring Gang Starr Foundation members Smiley the Ghetto Child & Lil Dap (of Group Home). Kool Sphere just finished his first solo album "Integritty" that is coming out soon with features like Lil Dap, Smiley The Ghetto Child, Smoothe Da Hustler, Verbal Threat, Kool G Rap, Tame-One (from Artifacts) and Rhona Bennett (from En Vogue). That's how you keep it real in this rap game!! I recently copped his pre-album (or whatever you wanna call it) with a lot of unreleased joints that are banging real good, you can check out the samples here. I can't wait for this album to drop. This joint is produced by Weirdo from Italy, I know the dude from back in time when he was promoting his beats on forums. Respect for him! "Reality Check" still gives me a boner haha, Verbal Threat didn't split btw, they actually working on a new album. Now enjoy Kool Sphere, be on the look out:Kool Sphere (of Verbal Threat) - Supply & Demand (Feat. Smiley the Ghetto Child & Lil Dap) (Prod. by Weirdo)

Guru - Mr. Gangstarr (Produced by Superproducer Solar); DON'T TELL ME IT'S TRUE
NO NO NO!! Solar, why do you keep on making it worse and worse for yourself?? This is beyond any imagination, in the past days Solar is promoting -with his hired promoting company yo-pr.com (who don't feel ashamed at all)- his own discography and uploading Gang Starr videos on 7Grand account, placing Gang Starr logo next to his head on Twitter and so on... But this goes beyond any comprehension, while Guru isn't awake (in coma or not, we don't know) he releases new track of Guru. I just don't get it, sorry people, I don't. The song is about Gang Starr, maybe another 'evidence' of Solar wanting to make a new Gang Starr album with Guru... What's going on??!!Guru - Mr. Gangstarr (Produced by Superproducer Solar)
Solar is fucking up his legacy while he's in bed, pray for Guru! Meanwhile Solar is wondering why he gets attacked. Apparently he thinks Guru isn't that bad after a heartattack, surgery, coma like everybody thinks. SMH. The OG Bumpy Knuckles is back on an internet warpath too warn people before it's to late. I never understood what he's trying to achieve with this, what does he want us to do? Oh and side note, DJ Premier also worked with that sample lol.

The Story Behind Boss "Drive By (Slow Rollin' Remix)"
Me and many other real hip hop fans were questioning this track all the time, now I've found the answer. The question we asked is did DJ Premier really produced the Drive By Remix together with Eric Sermon? Who doesn't know Bosss? Or Bo$$? Nobody? It stands for 'Bitches On Some Shit' with members Boss and DJ Dee, DJ Dee left the group later. They were the first artists signed to Def Jam West, and who doesn't know Def Jam lol. A major hip hop label so it doesn't spells any good. Russell Simmons liked their demo and signed the female gangsta rappers to Def Jam with success, and you know how the press like big trees. The press revealed that she isn't that gangsta like the rhymes are telling us, so she resigned from the rap game and became a radio DJ in Houston before she could drop her second album. Now concerning DJ Premier: one release is markable of her. If you look at the B-Side of the 12" "Deeper" you see the track "Drive By (Slow Rollin' Remix)". You can read 'Additional Production By DJ Premier & Eric Sermon". The promo 12" has even different credits: Produced by MC Serch. Remixed by Jeff Trotter. Recorded at Soundtrack studio, NY. We always thought something is fishy about it, DJ Premier producing something for Def Jam LOL? Never saw that before, and if you're real, Premo would never used that sample loop for a beat. But why did Def Jam pressed his name on the vinyl? And what about Eric Sermon? I have the answer in a letter of the man who originally produced the remix, Robert "Roblow" Jones:
Boss and Dee da mad bitch showed up at my front door in 1990 from Detroit. I was just a local producer and best friend / so called cousin DJ Battlecatt where making a little name for ourself. They had met a friend of mines in Detroit who told them that I could help get them a deal. At the time Ice cube was working on the movie Boys N The Hood. I then rushed Boss & Dee into the studio and we recorded "Drive bye" and a few other songs. We went down to the movie set to let Ice cube check them out. He loved what he had heard, but could not move on it, because he had just signed Yo-Yo.Ii then took them up to Impact record pool which later became Total Track Production own by Cortney & Tracy. It's all politics at the majors people! So I assume DJ Premier did the scratches. Robert Jones didn't do them. I don't know what Eric Sermon did but his name was looking good over there. Robert received $5160 dollar for the track and later sued Def Jam, the verdict was they had to fix the credits for future sales. I love those stories, this is my shit, the beginning of 90s hip hop! So now we know, brought to you by gimantalon! Also at that time in my life I was a drug dealer and I had went to Michigan to sale drugs and got caught, and was sentence to nine years in 1991. Boss & Dee then signed to total track from the demo that I had produced on them. Total Track who later got Boss a deal with Def Jam all from the Demo that I produced. Remind you, I am in jail. They had got a $500,000 budget to do Boss's album so Total Track proceeded to complete the album. With their producers DJ Quick and AMG. Def Jam did not accept the album because it sounded nothing like the demo I did. So they reissued a new budget to redo the album. I was then contacted by Boss and Def jam asking for the masters to the demo I did. But in the state of Michigan you can not conduct any business while in jail. So I could not sign any contracts so on good faith I gave my masters to Def Jam's A&R. I had a good friend at the time "Stone the lunatic" who had just produced Ice cube's "Wicked" track which did very well for him. And I had ask him to go into the studio and just mix the song and make it sound good. Def Jam thought that since he was a more known producer than I was that it would make better business to let him remix the track and say it was produced by him. The album came out in 1993 with Stone remix version on the album and my version on the b-side of the first single. Def Jam let DJ Premier mix it and Eric do what ever he did to it and the put addition production by those two cats. To this day I am still trying to recover credits and money from that song. -Robert "Roblow" Jones
Ow yeah, got something special for the collectors. You know I now also collect (when I can) CDS? Here you have the "Slow Rollin' Remix" in CDQ, only saw the vinyl rip floating around on the internet. Enjoy fellow hip hop lovers:
Robert "Roblow" Jones still makes music, this is his new group. Lastly, I would like to thank him for his letter!

Jeru the Damaja x Rahzel Freestyle
Last night we had Jeru the Damaja and Rahzel on LiveFromHQ. DJ JS-1 filled in for DJ Premier because he's on an European tour with Blaq Poet, Nick Javas and Termanology. Term was originally on a tour with Statik Selektah and Saigon if I'm correct, but he couldn't enter the UK after some problems, send back to Switzerland where they original came from. Luckily DJ Premier started his tour in Switzerland and Termanology could go with them and rocked the boat! Blaq Poet was also in Europe earlier touring with 12 Finger Dan. It was a dope show last night, good to hear Jeru again. There's absolutely no beef between him and the Gang Starr Foundation, he's all Gang Starr Foundation. Now he's preparing an album with DJ JS-1, but no further details were given. Here's a dope freestyle by Jeru the Damaja (who was tipsy) with beatboxing Rahzel, can it get any doper??Jeru the Damaja - Freestyle with Rahzel

Heather B Returns With DJ Premier For Her New Album
Heather B's last project was 2002’s Eternal Affairs. With production from Pete Rock and DJ Premier, the album met with positive reviews despite not charting on Billboard.
Since then, Heather diversified her portfolio with appearances in commercials, and running a successful business out of the New York metropolitan area.
Although Open Bar is just her third studio album, Heather B has been in the entertainment industry well over 10 years, receiving her first national exposure as a cast member of the original MTV Real World season in 1992.
In 1996, she partnered with Boogie Down Productions for her debut Takin’ Mine, which delivered two regional hits in “All Glocks Down” and “If Headz Only Knew.”
She cites these experiences as the reason her current music is more confident, and immune to the pressures of confirming to today’s image-driven expectations of female rappers.
“When I first came out, I felt like I had to do it and now I want to do it because I’m grown and my music is coming from a sincere and confident place,” Heather explained to AllHipHop.com. “I’m not concerned with any trends or industry misconceptions; I want to put out some good music.”
While Premier is handling the new project’s direction, two other confirmed producers are Pete Rock and Kenny Parker.
The latter is behind on the boards on Open Bar’s lead single “The Game Don’t Stop,” which Heather uses to make a statement on the importance of creative, well-executed Hip-Hop.
“’The Game Don’t Stop’ answers all those questions that people have asked me and what I’ve questioned myself. What the end result of it all is, it doesn’t matter, Quality matters,” she declared.
Open Bar is tentatively scheduled for a May release. The new single is available now on iTunes.

The Man Who Calls Himself A Superproducer...
...Written by gimantalon:Many people asked me to actually do this and I come clean, I didn't really enjoy writing this. However, the truth has to be written to the public. The people who wrote me asked for my help. About the whole Solar Guru situation… We should have known people. We should have known this would come this far. Superproducer Solar is a manipulator of the highest degree and loves to control people. I really hate making a post on DJ Premier Blog about Solar, I even promised last year not to mention Guru ever again (because I saw no ending with that Solar dude).
A lot of people who worked with Guru and Solar came forward to me with their stories about 7Grand Records and Solar in this intense week. Mostly they write about how heartbreaking it is to hear that their former partner Guru had a heart attack and that Solar is with him making it hard for his family, they are very concerned. The reason they wrote the truth in countless letters is because they want Guru away from Solar with the help of the public (like Justin asked in his video). It was no fun for them writing about Guru's evil friend, especially when Guru was one of the friendliest people they ever met, and were blessed to work with. To the few persons Guru had contact with, he was always very kind. He was a master at cheering someone up. If you saw Guru you wouldn't think he was sad, he wouldn't let you see it someone wrote me. He didn't want to make someone sad because of him. That's maybe the reason Solar had so much control on Guru. Guru's first concern wasn't himself, but the persons next to him. I hope you respect why they want to stay anonymous. They don't want to harm the person, Guru, that were always good to them. Yet, what Solar puts Guru trough is unacceptable and makes people angry for a damn good reason. No one wants to see a good person suffer and taken advantage of. So I warn all of you, the next thing I'm about to write is something like tmz.com or allhiphop.com, you are not forced to read it. Keep Guru in the back of your mind, because he needs our support. Even so, here are some facts about the person who is now with Guru:
-Solar claims to be a member of the Nation of Gods and Earths. He consider himself as a God. 7Grand logo is inspired from the religions logo.
-Solar claims to have saved Guru from alcohol abuse.
-Solar and Guru likes to believe the media that they were friends before they worked together. Which isn't completely true. Guru was introduced to Solar by Black Jesus who worked on projects with Guru. Solar just started producing and when he came into the picture he disrupted and poisoned his mind against Black Jesus and his crew.
-Solar always told Guru that his old friends hate him and that he is nobody without him. Guru is scared of that and don't want to end up alone in his mid 40s. Solar isn't that stupid, if Guru and DJ Premier make music again he can say bye bye.
-Every journalist that would like to take an interview with Guru is firstly asked not to question about Gang Starr or DJ Premier. Solar always has to sit next to Guru (even with a phone interview). If you watch some interviews of them you can see how Solar likes to interrupt Guru to say it better. I once heard an interview when he got mad (because of DJ Premier) and asked the interviewer 'what the deal is'. Guru didn't move a bit.
-Solar likes to write mails in Guru's name to the 7Grand artists. You can tell the difference between Guru and Solar. Guru always wrote like a poet, Solar like a thug.
-Guru is allowed to sign autographs for a certain amount of time, after which Solar yells 'that's enough', grabs his arm and drags him off.
-When a girl shows interest in Guru she firstly needs to be approved by Solar, which led Guru with no girls most of the times. When you ask him about it, Guru always replies: 'Solar is helping me to be disciplined, I need that'.
-It has been reported that Solar harbours intense jealousy for the Jazzmatazz trumpet soloist Brownman. I received emails from promoters stating that they've seen Solar pack Brownman into a cab and send him back to the hotel early when audiences are freaking out over his trumpet playing. One promoter describes the reaction to Brownman as "so much cheering you couldn't hear Guru talk, while Solar's reception was luke-warm at best". This infuriates Solar and he has used lies such as "we have an early flight" as excuses to shuttle the trumpet player away from the crowd. Eventually Solar made Guru stop introducing the band members entirely. The superproducer's own introduction would go on for minutes, while the all-star band - including the well known DJ DooWop - were treated like nobody's. Other sources have reported that Solar has had many conflicts with Brownman, stemming from Solar's insecurities over Brownman's ability to engage an audience as a soloist - while he himself has no business on stage next to Guru. Why is the producer of the show on stage in the first place?
-Solar feeds on the career of Guru , of which he has total control over. While playing in Norway a few years ago, he demanded weird stuff and complained that he had not received enough smoked salmon and champagne. Most of the people didn't even know who he was.
-It's not like anyone didn't know about this, a lot of this has been said before. Here you have a picture of a fan who wanted to own Solar. Here you have other blogs besides mine who spoke about it, here's another one. This funny picture I posted on my blog spread like wild fire one year ago, now it's off course not funny anymore. Actually I've known several journalists who wrote bad things when they did an interview with Guru and Solar.
-Solar was thinking about a new Gang Starr album, probably without DJ premier. Guru told us last year it's possible there would be a new Gang Starr album. If there would be one, it will be released on 7Grand Records. Solar made him believe only he is Gang Starr. After that statement an official twitter opened @GangStarr_NY that was promoted through Guru's official twitter, which is in control of Solar.
-Guru is not the only one that Solar is controlling and brainwashing. The keyboard player of the Jazzmatazz band, Dave Scott, was even worse terrorized. Dave literally runs to pack up Solar's food when Solar commands him to everywhere he demands. Dave does all kind of things for Solar. Like giving his clothes and making up a room with the things solar wants. He even does Solar's laundry on tour often. He is terrified to lose his job because he has nothing else. When I posted that Jazzmatazz band left 7grand in January (due to Solar), he wrote eight comments in three hours begging me to add that he hasn't quit. That's how terrified he is from Solar, who runs things via abuse and terror. Also I hope he will be set free from Solar and go his own path.
-Solar blocks every source of information to Guru because he knows his old friends still love him.
-Solar and his wife signed a health care proxy as brother and sister of Guru. Guru's room is protected with a guest list and a black list. Solar told the hospital that there were pictures taken from Guru without permission, which was not true.
There is more that should better kept private, but I think you get the picture. I think Guru is still at an instable condition, so I would like everybody to still pray until he’s better. When he is, he will have a difficult job to do. Considering him not wanting to harm anyone. Actions, however, need to be taken, but first we need to see if Guru is at a stable condition. Pray for him, anyone who met him in person knows he deserves it.
(Note: Solar’s official twitter is now redesigned by Yo! Promotions, check it out now!! Y’all should be ashamed, fo real.)
My 2 cents...

Solar Puts Guru's Nephew on Black List at Hospital
In a new public letter from Year Round Records label manager Biggest Gord stated that Guru's nephew can't visit his uncle due to a black list. Gang Starr Foundation members who's supporting Guru's family through this drama picked up his nephew Justin at the airport in New York to take him to the hospital to visit his uncle Guru. Biggest Gord writes as follow:"We approached the information desk in the main lobby of the hospital. We were asked “how can i help you gentlemen” by the intake woman at the front desk. Justin replied: ”i’m here to visit my uncle keith elam”. The rather nice but professional older woman who asked the first question raised her eyebrow and responded: ”lemme check the list”. Her first response after checking the first list was ”well your name is not on this list let me check the other list”. She then continued: ”oh ok, your name is on this list, i’m sorry i cannot allow you to go see the patient”. Yeah let that marinate. It seems like there were two lists, one list (the first list she looked at) had the names of people allowed to visit (the patient). The other list (the second list she checked) had the names of people who were not allowed to visit (the patient)".
Justin Nicholas Elam-Ruff apparently was on the second list that Solar had given to the hospital. Biggest Gord included with the letter that we need to keep praying for Guru and that Gang Starr will never be over. He assured us that he'll keep us updated with information from his side and I would like to thank him for that. Rumor says that Superproducer Solar will be on a New York based radio show on monday morning. The Militia should enter that building in my point of view.

First Official Comment on Guru by DJ Premier
I wonder if I should write "Exclusive" or "Breaking News" like the sensation magazines love to do that. Well, here is the first official comment of Guru's old partner and legendary hip hop producer DJ Premier (that y'all been waiting on) together with Rhymefest and Panchi. Recorded from LiveFromHQ last night. And he started his show with the track "Moment of Truth", we all know why, Gang Starr 4 ever!! The good will overrule the evil eventually:First Official DJ Premier Comment on Guru
Here is a new letter from Superproducer Solar trying to clear his name while more stories are about to surface about him in my mailbox. Bumpy Knuckles started an operation asking all Gang Starr Foundation fans to save Guru. Get well Guru.

Statik Selektah Comments on Guru Situation
Via NahRight.
UPDATE: Anonymous sources have stated 2 Jazzmatazz band members - DJ Doo Wop & Brownman - both resigned in Jan '10 and no longer supporting Solar or 7Grand Records. Their last tour occurred in Nov '09 and sources tell us that finances are still owed to these artists. Miss Tasha Denham, former 7Grand Record's executive assistant, stated that Solar is 'evil' and that it 'is time that the whole truth is being said'. Both DooWop & Brownman have toured the world as Jazzmatazz's DJ and featured soloist respectively for more then 3 years.
Dirty CDQ Version of Goldyn Chyld (DJ Premier Remix)
I'm sitting now quit some time on this one. I don't know if this is an exclusive or something for the collectors, but I never saw a dirty CDQ version of this jewel before on the internet (why? read on...). You could find the dirty version on the 12" release in 2002 by Priority Records who also released a promo CDS of this track with only the clean version on it.I tagged it as "DJ Premier Remix", and it is a remix, but it isn't tagged like that on the vinyl release. But the notes tells us that the original version will appear on his next album "Goldyn Chyld", but that album never came out due to troubles with the law and label. So this dirty version could never see the daylight. I also have the original version somewhere on my hard disc, but that one is produced by someone else (released on some advanced version of the album maybe?). Arguably Ras Kass best track. Like I said, forgotten jewel. I almost forgot, it's a jewel rejected by -who else- Jay-Z. You see him rhyme on this beat around The Blueprint era?
Enjoy you DJ's:

What in Gods Name is Really Going On With Guru??

I published my concerns about this earlier on Twitter , even Talib Kweli felt the same, Busta Rhymes felt the same. This is really getting scary. I really hope Guru is getting healthy but it doesn't looks that way to me. His nephew also put this in question. Superproducer Solar still loves to aim towards DJ Premier (and his people) when Guru is still recovering from a heart attack and coma?? "Guru has made clear he does not want anything to do with certain people from his past, and for them too be making false statements about his health is unacceptable"- Superproducer Solar. If you are in the hospital (with health problems) from early February and having a heart attack (still in the hospital) after one month... This scares me in particularly ... Besides the fact that Superproducer Solar is protecting Guru from everyone. It's clearly Solar has a different agenda. And he still finds the time to let "Guru" aiming towards his old partner DJ Premier that supposedly give all the false information towards the hip hop community?? Don't forget that DJ Premier rejected to give public comment about the incident on sunday and that he still didn't gave a public comment by now... When Guru gets out that hospital he should really think about who is interested in his health and who's interested in getting himself famous.
IT EVEN SCARES ME MORE when you think about how long this shit could go on, did Guru really meant it that Premo never was a friend of him and that only he is Gang Starr?? Hmm.
"Guru" can tweet almost the exact same message in seconds when Superproducer Solar tweeting?? Guru can't even control his own Twitter account now?? And why did "Guru" released all his albums for free when he was in the hospital?? Why did "Guru" even tweeting promotion stuff at the time he was critical ill??
What in Gods Name is Really Going On With Guru??
Besides the Superproducer Solar getting out of his mess by using Guru's twitter we couldn't get no new updates on Guru's health (what in my point of view is still the most important). Sorry.

Public Letter From Year Round Records Label Manager Biggest Gord
So this just hit the wire…..“I am doing fine and I am recovering! I’m weak though. Solar is the only person who has the accurate info on my situation. Any info from anybody else is false! I appreciate your well wishes and all the love!”….hopefully it’s true…….yet I have my doubts….but that’s me…please be true!!!!! So Guru regained consciousness and had the where with all to not only hear about, how the the world via the net has been buzzing about him, his health and his current situation…but also the strength and mind state to issue a statement through his partner….so lemme get this straight…. from the rumor mill of he said she said….he goes in for a second procedure on his back because the first wasn’t as successful as hoped…while undergoing the procedure his lung collapses(he always had asthma) and he goes into cardiac arrest….some how he either slips into a coma or is medically induced into a coma….either way he’s in a coma….the news gets out… allegedly from his sister…supposedly he’s having a procedure done because of the collapsed lung (you can assmue it’s a tracheostomy if you want I ain’t no doctor)…everyone starts calling everyone else to get some kinda verification or information and tweeting they hope the surgery is successful and so on and so forth….the ‘tweetenistas’ continue to buzz with misinformation (r.i.p guru…. etc)….but still no concrete accurate factual info….other people start tweeting about hearing from premier and what he said to them……true or not true that’s the day we livin in…. a new day….. the information highway or the matrix???…. you choose….I wanna hear from the person or persons who Guru(allegedly) spoke those words to…better yet his doctor……so they can look me in the face and tell me he woke from his coma and uttered those very words quoted in the quote…or even better….hear it from the horse’s mouth….I know ….I know…who the hell do I think I am???….label me a very concerned friend……don’t get me wrong…..it’s mad easy for me to want to believe that he would say those things and his partner would have the only accurate information on his situation…that’s how they been getting down since last I saw my dude over 5 years ago…….only thing is I ain’t hearing much from his partner until this…..”Guru is resting and doing well after his surgery,” Solar told AllHipHop.com. “The doctors say that he will fully recover from his illness. We thank everyone who send prayers our way and we appreciate the outpouring of love from around the world!”…..I just wanna know that my dude really did wake from that coma and spoke those words….because the alternative is just damn sad and disappointing….until then imma keep praying hoping and waiting…..

Don't let the negativity overrule the positivity!and AllHipHop and BillBoard reporters should watch what they say in DJ Premier name, they have a lot of responsibility... HipHopDX reached out to me and fixed their error with apologizes from their half. Positive!

Guru Issues Official Statement About Health Status
There are a lot of rumors and wrong information circulating around about Guru's current situation and health status.Hit producer and Guru's longtime partner Superproducer Solar wants to make clear that only he has access to Guru and his doctors and he would appreciate if people would respect Guru's privacy in this matter.
"Guru is resting and doing well after his surgery. The doctors say that he will fully recover from his illness. We thank everyone who send prayers our way and we appreciate the outpouring of love from around the world!"
Guru, the sole founder of the world famous Hip-Hop group Gang Starr, who is currently recovering from his surgery, issued an official statement about his health status and addressed people who are spreading wrong information.
"I am doing fine and I am recovering! I'm weak though. Solar is the only person who has the accurate info on my situation. Any info from anybody else is false! I appreciate your well wishes and all the love!" says the legendary MC.
Guru, born Keith Elam, has suffered a heart attack over the weekend in New York City and Hip-Hop fans around the world have shown massive love and support to one of the greatest rappers of all time.
During what must be an incredibly hard and stressful period in life, keep sending your prayers, thoughts, and wishes to the Elam family!

Personal input: I'm really glad Guru is going to be alright, I never doubt that though. But did Guru really said that quote? Hmm... But thank god, finally an "official" statement (with a beautiful twist of Superproducer Solar). The Twitter shit got me crazy, best wishes to his family and himself.
EDIT: Please people, watch this. Support his family trough this horrible time.
