I noticed some people don't know this track that used this sample so thank god I have the LP! Note that the rip is not mine! I don't blame you if you don't know the track because it's only released official on vinyl. I've heard some story, but I really don't know if it's true so don't shoot me. It looks right because I never saw an official print on vinyl of D.I.T.C.'s selftitled debut album. Ok, now you can follow me; This track is from an exclusive vinyl album by D.I.T.C. called "The Official Version", it was an album with only remixes on it of D.I.T.C. tracks. The reason why they released it (only on vinyl) was because their debut selftitled album "D.I.T.C." was released in the same year but not on double vinyl, their were some legal issue's because that album was already fully released on 12inch singles trough the years. So they couldn't release it on vinyl anymore (very wierd), then D.I.T.C. say we will release a double vinyl with remixes so vinyl fans have something. And actually I didn't found any official press on vinyl of D.I.T.C.'s debut album, only promo copies.
If someone got more info he can always contact me, because I don't have any reliable source. Enjoy this hard ass remix done by DJ Premier with Big Punisher and Milano as guests:
Yes, I started this blog one month ago! Tryin' to reach the Preem fan and keep him up te date with a blog that is alive. This month I have send this blog probably one message a day if it isn't more but we all know that won't stay for ever. But I will still try though! First I wanted to know how DJ Premier felt about this blog, it's no fun to start a fan blog if the artist is pitty about it. But yesterday I got the answer, he was impressed. Well, a reason more to stay kicking! Second I wanted to know if this blog got visitors, well, believe me, it has. I'm happy I reached eventually more people then I tought, I reached this month 4915 unique people.
The peronal reason I started this blog (that I always wanted to do) is because it was learning vacation here in Belgium, but my technique is learn non stop one/two weeks before it exam and then you will have the same result. So I had much spare time! That was the same period 3 years ago when I put the DJ Premier Trackology online.
Here are some statics about this first month:(Click on the picture for better quality...) (The second picture is more important for me) (289 people average/day)
I would like to thank everybody who visit my site, may the lord bless your soul and don't worry, this site will be alive. And also special thanks to the people who gave me encourage and props. I don't forget that! And to Crackdaddy who still give me the free space on his domain! This year was a good Preem year, is it fair to say better then 2007? Don't know... But my opion is that Preem isn't felled of at all, every artist changed in a way and my ears still does it for him. Now lets go to 2009 and see what it takes, but I'm going to ask this one question to the lord: are we going to see Pros N Cons?
Out the other night with Styles and Premo. Incase you did’nt know, Premo is from Houston. So we all hang around the holidays. Just a quick bit of History……(i’ll try to keep this short and write the full details later) Dj Styles is some what responsible for Dj Premier being Dj Premier. The story goes like this. Carlos(Dj Styles) worked at a music store called Soundwaves in the 80’s . He got Premier a job there. Carlos sent Premier’s demo tape to Stu Fine at Wild Pitch around 88′. Stu Liked what he heard and told Carlos he wanted to bring Premier up to meet an mc from Boston that was on the label and that needed a dj. Now according to Carlos(Dj Styles), Premier really did’nt want to go but Carlos made it go down. Well we know now that mc was Guru and the rest is history.
This one is strange, did someone notice Ali Vegas new album is already out for almost a month on Itunes? But no problem, you can still buy it with the DJ Premier produced song "Everyday Iz War" if you life in USA!! I was going to buy it when I noticed it's only for the US people, this must be a mistake. The album was released on the 9th of december by Rich Soil Entertainment.
Not going to spend much effort. I tought he just went out of jail and was preparing his album with productions of DJ Premier. Well, this guy is in jail again for double murder. At least it looks like that! This could be the for ever the end...
Nuttin' new this week, I hoped he would play Get It In by Blaq Poet, but still no new tracks. He played again that Flipsyde beat!! I have a feeling the beat will be on Beats That Collected Dust Vol. 2! If it will ever come out. Here can you listen to this beat one more time:
Small note: "U Gotta Love Us" vinyl single is comming out on the 28th of january2009, the clip is set to release in two weeks. Props to Make Senz who will be on the B-Side!
Meeeeeeeeeeerry Christmas to my visitors... Over the years my friend collected remixed songs by various producers over the globe, some more known, some more unknown, but all top class. All the songs were original done by DJ Premier, except track six (my mistake). I have contact with some of the producers so I would like to thank Wierdo, DJ Oll-Zen and Krudanze for their contribution. I hope they will get more known with this, hope so, they are really good man! If Preem see this post, download it and spin it. Because he says all day "I only play real shit, if I think it's real, I play it". It's real, believe me. Some songs are even ripped from myspace, don't care, as long as my ears like it. Enjoy, you will!
Tracklist:
Nas - Nas is Like (Feat. Big L) (Ck Original Remix) (Usa)
Az - the Come Up (Cookin Soul Remix) (Spain)
Afu-Ra - Defeat (Weirdo Remix) (Italy)
Pitch Black - It's All Real (Soul Children Remix) (Usa)
Big Daddy Kane - Any Type of Way (DJ Oll-Zen Remix) (Germany)
I think this is an exclusive? Dunno, thanks to the director himself! Normally I don't post MViD's but hey. It's Christmas evening for everyone, so here is my present to y'all! I encoded it in XviD to make it a smaller size and keep the quality:
Funny, this song is growing more and more on me. I really like it now, but when it was first leaked in the beginning of the summer without tags nobody knew it was produced by DJ Premier, and no one was hyped on it. Then suddenly it was produced by DJ Premier and everyone jumped on it. Me too, it's a different Premier style! Make sure you install the XviD encode to watch the video!
About that story, it has an ending. You know DJ Premierthought in the beginning (just like me) that Fred Durst is a clown. But after the produced songs he came more positive in the picture. Well, I forgot this interview with Freddie Foxx... Fred Durst is still a clown. Nuttin' changed, he actually mislead Premo. Here is a short part of the interview:
Freddie Foxxx - Like when I talk about Fred Durst. I think he's a cocky bastard who thinks he's bigger then everybody. He indicated that in the way he treated Premier when Premier reached out for him to try to put down a Gangstarr Foundation label with him. He was with it at first, but then he backed out and didn't return his calls and it was real foul how he treated him.
ThaFormula - So Fred Dursts' bitch ass dissed Premier huh?
Freddie Foxxx - Yeah, big time.
ThaFormula - But why would you wanna hook up with a chump like that anyway?
Freddie Foxxx - But see the thing is it was business. Premier was sayin' "listen I got this label with all these hot rappers on it. You fund it and let's make money. You don't have to be involved. Nobody needs Fred Durst input. I told Premier, "yo dog I'm only gonna fuck with the situation if you do you. I'm not fucking with him directly cause he ain't really Hip-Hop. He's using Hip-Hop to get a platform to do other shit like Kid Rock did. So fuck them! I'm really about my culture and about what this music is about. Fuck all them clowns man.
Some say one of the ugliest covers ever, can't argue that. Special lego edition for the holidays!! Who doesn't love lego?! I got some more threads for you guys, santa is coming! Believe that!
DJ Premier recently revealed to New York radio personality Peter Rosenberg that he made a track for 50 Cent that was turned down. XXLmag.com chopped it up with the beat making legend to get the inside scoop on what happened with the song and how it would have been the perfect vehicle for Fif to push the reset button on his career.
Apparently Preemo submitted the song for 50’s upcoming album Before I Self Destruct. And as he tells it, this would have been the G-Unit leader’s perfect re-introduction to hip-hop audiences as a hardcore rapper.
“I use[d] his voice from “Guess Who’s Back” – ‘You’re now rocking with 50 Cent. Are you ready? I said are you ready,’ he described to XXL. “You know how he says that, with that like cocky attitude? I used that and scratching in the beginning with like this real mellow beat and the drums are smacking. It’s like setting it up like ‘Yo I’m back on my grizzly shit. I’m about to come rough.’”
Premier, who has worked with most of New York’s most influential artists, including The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z and Nas, said the track wasn’t one of his greatest but it would have worked in 50’s favor. “It’s not like the illest beat I ever done but the fact that he wants to bring it back to the pure essence, I definitely know how to make sure that we’re on the right track for a street record. “
While he says that Curtis would have sounded amazing over the beat, he’s not upset that the song was turned down. “Bringing that old voice back is almost like if he hit the reset button. So I could totally hear 50 killing that song…I’m not mad though. Fif’s my dude.”
Even though you won’t be hearing the track on 50’s new album, Preemo said the beat didn’t end up on the cutting room floor. He gave it to the NYGz, who are signed to his Year Round imprint, for a song called “Ready?”

Too bad, I would love to hear 50 Cent on Premo beat. Reminds me how nice he sounded when he was at Columbia. Get ready for NYGz!
It's late now so I tought lets post something small! Not only me, but also DJ Premier thought Fred Durst was wack in the beginning and "N 2 Gether Now" isn't entirely produced by DJ Premier!
The story is that the manager of Preem asked him to do a song for Limp Bizkit, he said first "nah, that guy can't rap man!". But his manager said "Method Man will be on it, give it a shot", so they met at D&D Studios and Fred was like "I know you think I can't rap and stuff, but I'm so glad we are here now. I got all your Tape Kingz, with G Depp". And just like with Christina Aguilera (who loved Group Home) Premo was like "You know about Tape Kingz & G Depp, word, lets do this". And the original "N 2 Gether Now" is actually produced by DJ Lethal and Preem just had to remake it with his boombap style. So DJ Premier didn't choose the sample. You can still hear the original version instrumental on the B Side of the vinyl release, it's a pressing mistake he said.
Afterwards Limp Bizkit had a pyjamaparty in the playboy mansion and Preem was invited to spin some records and he took HeadQcourterz (RIP) with him and played classic hip hop in mr. Hefner's crib with all the bunnies.
In 2000 and 2001 he did two more remixes for Fred Durst.
Last night DJ Premier said on his radio show that he went yesterday in the studio with Q Da Kid to record a song. Q Da Kid is actually a new MC in the game. He is from Brooklyn and is recently signed to Def Jam. The record will be on his debut album that is coming in 2009. So get ready!
Next: DJ Premier is going to work also on the next UGK album with Bun B and Pimp C (RIP), the song isn't recorded yet so nothing is sure as you know!
Also no guests tonight, DJ Premier and his team only, Big Shug on the phone once again. Next week Preem will be in Texas for the holidays so it will be again a pre taped show. I hope he brings some new shit!
Now about Blaq Poet, about Blaq Poet... The album is delayed once again. Sorry folks... It's now ready to release in February! The video for "Ain't Nuttin' Changed" will drop in 2/3 weeks and will be edited tomorrow so that will be dope.
DJ Premier started the show with a story about him going to texas last week to see AC/DC. He is a big fan of AC/DC just like his sister. To get to the point, Preem weights 114 kg. Now we all know lol, the question is solved! Because they hadn't any T-Shirts left excepts three larges... He was funny about it.
Ah - It's finally here... Clip was recorded 2/3 months ago... Track was leaked 4 months ago... And the track was recorded before Royce had to do jail time!
It will also be the lead single of his long awaited album "Street Hop" wich will be executive produced by DJ Premier. Get ready 12inch lovers:
Good news for the vinyl lovers under us and like they promised. There's going to be a vinyl release of the single "U Gotta Love Us" by the 2008 comeback group (like they said) House of Repz. The vinyl will have 9 tracks on it! It will be released by Kings Link Recordz in 2009. The catalogue number is KLR 4002. The song itself was recorded with DJ Premier in summer 2008. The B Side will be a new song + a bonus remix!
Tracklist: A1 U Gotta Love Us (Street) (Prod. by DJ Premier) A2 U Gotta Love Us (Clean) A3 U Gotta Love Us (Instrumental) A4 U Gotta Love Us (Acapella) B1 Resistance (Kenny Diaz Street Mix) (Prod. by Kenny Diaz) B2 Resistance (Kenny Diaz Video Mix) B3 Resistance (Kenny's Original Instrumental) B4 U Gotta Love Us (Funky Remix) (Prod. by Sensei Walingh) B5 U Gotta Love Us (Dark Remix)
Here is the review for that classic J Rock album (link) published by The Source in 1992, I'm never going to deleted that picture lol. Culture!! It has a rating of 3/5, but they could never tought back then that DJ Premier was going to be a pioneer.
You can click on the pictere to see this in a very high quality, as you could see it only took a small section of the page...
Here to take you back a couple of years ago (www.yearroundrecords.com). The site of Year Round Records was launched on october 2003 and was taking offline 4 years later on July 16th 2007. It was in total 9 times updated and created by Capital Mindz Inc.
"I've always felt that it's important to have a name - whether it's my publishing, production company or email address - that has some real meaning to it," says Premier of how he christened his imprint. "Year Round' describes me fully because I'm always working."
Haha - Don't think Preem had enough time for running this website... But on 13th of August he told us that he has been working on a new site!
I wanted to let you know there wasn't anything new last night on LiveFromHQ. There wasn't any talk between tracks because Preem couldn't do a live show for any reason. It was a pre programmed show to make us happy. He did play a song with Guru on it, that song from Lil Dap's album. Hope we hear Premo next week again...
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM, look what I found in my mail today people!! The limited edition promo 12inch of Lord Finesse Remix Album!! Another DJ Premier Blog exclusive!! YES!! It has costs me $180 to get the vinyl so y'all better be happy!!
I loved this remix since it was played once on the radio, but daaaaamn people!!!!!!
But to come back on the money issue, I still think it's not a fair price tough (like I said in a previous post). Premo fans should get to his music for a fair price, really, somebody can tell me what made this single so much money? The remix album was coming out in 2005/2006, we didn't see nothing. Now is the remix album is planned for 2010 and for those who has the money can buy the first tracks... Straight bullshit, maybe I missed the point of this whole limited thing or something? I bet they will say "Be happy they pressed it". But hell I accept it because I'm like you people, have to have everything of the best!! Can you believe I bought two LP's just to get that 12inch??!!
(Click on picture for better quality...)
Also I took this picture to show how great I am, nah nah lol, it's to prove I'm not a mp3 collector like some people accused me from. And also show that I support Preem to the fullest and I can post things legal here for personal use. I really believe most of the visitors are those persons also.
AND I'm not going to post the other tracks, even they are a crime to your ears. This is a DJ Premier Blog only and it's not my job to rip the other tracks (only for my Serato), it will only drive the other 199 owners mad...
So here it is, enjoy once again and try to delete it on your hard disc:
Attention (Ladies and gentlemen) We have Lord Finesse (Yeah, it's him again. Why don't you get the place pumping, come on, say a little something!) Alright, let me kick this fly intro Somethin that's smooth but quite simple This is my type of groove, so don't make plans I don't care if you hop skip or breakdance Don't worry cause you'll get your chance yet To get funky and kick the fly dancesteps At a show I try to maintain discipline I keep you moving, but also listenin'
Think I'm funky? I'll be funkier tomorrow Yo, I'm one tough act to follow Rip up mics when it's time to throw down Make MC's say: I don't even wanna go now All I need is a mic and a hype groove Two dancers and my DJ Mike Smooth To spin the wheels and make you shake your body I kick a party like I know karate Better yet like I was kickin a volleyball I step on stage get raw, then I'm outty, y'all Here we go now, so just stand back I take a ho, a cheer, or a handclap Get raw off the same drum while MC's remain dumb Don't worry cause there's more where that came from I'm not the type of brother to kick a small rap Get swift and make a hit and think I'm all that Cause I elevate, make the fellas break I drink a 40, lay back, and just celebrate Shoot and flip the rhymes because I'm swift and wise Lord Finesse will keep the crowd hypnotized
I'm the Technician a.k.a. the rhyme arranger Have old folks saying Who was that stranger? It's Lord Finesse, so don't forget to tell em that Pass me a mic and roll down the welcome mat I don't front when it's time to kick a rhyme or two I get raw and show the crowd what I could do And steal a show before others have a chance to By givin party people somethin funky to dance to Kickin the lyrics and let the beat get them Man, I sound groovy even on a weak system I warm up the scene like a bottle of brandy And if that fails, then I just go to Plan B But once I start there's no need to slow down As soon as I say One two, here we go now Rhymes I say structure and analyze Then say to myself downlow Goddamn, I'm fly Rhymes'll stay when I'm gone like a fossile I'm livin large, stupenous, collossal Me and Mike Smooth, we're so magnificient We keep the crowd movin, but also listenin'
DID I ALREADY TELL HOW MUCH I LOVE LORD FINESSES STYLE??!! He is an ill kid, a legend, A LORD!! Haha
Oh, last year there WAS also a Big L project planned... It was a project of Preem and Lord Finesse cauz the mom of Big L found a lot of tapes back with rhymes. Lord Finesse has those now and they were going to do something with it. Maybe we will see that in 2015 for $80...
In 21 days the year 2008 will be over, so I think it will be dope if y'all vote for the best Premo beat in 2008! We won't see another Preem track I guess and if we do it will be released in 2009 for sure! Here is the list of the DJ Premier produced track that saw official in 2008 the daylight (excl. "Beats That Collected Dust"):

Total: 27
The list of tracks for the vote contains eight tracks (!!) and there won't be any rnb track in it, I'm sorry. Just to focus on tha real... hip hop. I'm actual curious to know the results so I thank you for wasting your time on this! May God bless you, peace to earth!!
And please don't cry if your favourite track isn't nominated (you can always skip simple things in life).
Another small thing, the Vivid track is NOT produced by DJ Premier! The scratches are done by DJ Cazz and seriously, ever saw a Preem track where he didn't do the cuts?! Plus, you can hear in a sec that isn't the man. And the RA The MC track "Anything You Liked" is a recycled beat, she jacked it from the "Beats That Collected Dust" LP... Sorry!
House of Repz have shot a video clip for their track "You Gotta Love This", but where is the video for Royce's new single that is recorded months ago...
Rosenberg will sit down with DJ Premier for a rare one-on-one interview about the life and influences of one of the most creative men in the music industry and screen a never-before-seen video tribute to Premier, featuring special celebrity cameos.
And
Hot 97 DJ Quiz will spin and jazz hip-hop fusion band Igmar Thomas and The Cypher will also perform, paying tribute to Primo’s music.
Well, the tribute vid will prolly be a lot doper then the one I made back in the days:
"I used to see Arty perform -- he reminded me of Method Man because he would just yank his hat off and be all over the place and his hair would be some crazy hair do," Premo told SOHH. "He would act like he was having a tantrum on stage and he was just so animated, it went with his rhyme style. So I was always a fan of his."
After allowing Arty's rap associate Showbiz to rent out a room at his studio, the producer developed a close relationship with the crew and noticed Arty's health conditions gradually worsen.
"I saw him when he was sick, and you know, we didn't really get too deep into discussion, but I knew he wasn't doing well" Premo explained.
Premo recalls the last meeting with Arty, just before going to Europe for the "Rock The Bells" tour last October. "I knew he was doing worse, I saw him right before I left, gave him a hug and, you know, told him I loved him and just kept it moving," he added. "But I didn't know it was so severe that he was pretty much brain dead for the last four days before he passed on December 4."
Admitting the family felt the best decision was to pull the life support system, Premo revealed Arty's desire to continue his legacy via hip-hop.
"One thing I like about what Arty and what J Dilla did was they put themselves to work," he revealed. "They didn't just sit there and sulk and cry, they went in there and worked in the studio."
Helping carry on Arty's memory, Premier expects to release some of the late rapper's music in the future.
Here's a post that brings us back in hip hop history to 1991 (before Jeru, Group Home, ...), I'm warning tha real diggers not to loose their time on this because they already know this probably. Me personally didn't grew in that time era... too bad, but I'm still interested like science on drugs. I grew up in the second Preem era (1999-2004).
Like we all know DJ Premier started in 1988 Gang Starr with Guru in Brooklyn, but their first LP didn't sold too much so Preem had to earn money for livin'. He more and more spread the word that he was selling beats for artists, the first real famous artist that called him was Ice-T (after they toured together), then followed by KRS-One. But meanwhile on the streets Ghetto Groovz Records talked to him.
Ghetto Groovz Records was a starting label of Jeff Murphy who had artists J-Rock, Beverly and MCM. They were from Upstate New York, where Jeff actually was a notorious drug dealer in Hudson Valley. So where shall I start? Ok, Jeff talked to DJ Premier for some beats because Preem needed money. DJ Premier said "Aight, bring me the artists". The first artist that needed to get launched was J Rock, he was the only one who made a full album on the label called "Streetwize". DJ Premier produced 4 songs on it (also Easy Mo Bee was on it), and he also produced a remix for the lead single "Neighborhood Drug Dealer". Now more then 15 years later that lp is a real collectors item and has a value of around 100 euros. The lead single only is worth 75 euros... The video for "Neighborhood Drug Dealer" was also very rare and recently reupped on the internet. More about that video later!
or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugla1KeW7ow
J Rock had a lot of talent, sadly he was the only one of the label who could release a full album. MCM could only release one single and the talented female MC Beverly didn't released a thing. Even she also recorded a buncha records with DJ Premier, that's right!! Y'all think now, how come? You just have seen the video of J Rock telling a story of a drug dealer, in that clip you see the drug dealer with a bag of cocaine busted right? That guy is actually Jeff Murphy, and to take you on a more sad tour: that video became reality. Jeff were sentenced for a long jail time due to drugs dealing 6 months after that video was recorded.
So where are those unreleased records? Well, at this point no one knows. DJ Premier told us Beverly went to the south starting a family. Lord Finesse told us he actually wishes he still had the records, they were produced by DJ Premier and written by Lord Finesse! So this is the part where the Ghetto Groovz Records story ends.
I can't tell you how much I played the J Rock LP already (re issued version), I can't tell you how much I love that hip hop era. And still, yes, still I'm hunting that LP! If someone has a deal he can always contact me... J Rock told some real diggers that their are actually still a lot of copies left at Jeff mom's crib who lives also in the south. This is real! If those Beverly records will ever see the dayligt will no one knows, but they are somewhere just like their are records of Biggie with Big Pun and Fat Joe.

Hope you enjoyed this post, this is some real DJ Premier history, "fun times" he said.
Not much to say when I was listening this night... Nothing new he said or played. 88-Keys was in the house, he has a new album so that was promoted. He played MVP and Too Strong, he also played the instrumental of MVP. But I have noticed something: while they were talking he played the instrumental of "It's Been A Long Time Coming" by Flipsyde, now that is still an unreleased track of 2005. So he carries it with him, WHY NOT RELEASING IT?!
Well, I'm still not good of the bad news we received yesterday but here is the album version of the DJ Premier Remix for Maroon 5 and I like it alot (beatwise)! Hope this get on vinyl somehow for instru...
I want to send out my condolences to the family of Party Arty of the world famous D.I.T.C. (Diggin' In The Crates Crew and of GG (aka Get Dirty)
He passed away this afternoon (Dec. 4) around 1:30pm due to healt complications...
His hardcore lyrics have been ringing out in the streets from Showbiz & AG, Lord Finesse, OC, and their own group GD which consists of rhyme partner D-Flow...
He also appeared on the joint I produced called "Weed Scented" which featured Guru of Gang Starr and OC on AG's first solo LP...He appears on the new D.I.T.C. Records compilation which is in stores now called "The Movement"
...He caught the attention of 50 Cent altough the deal never went thru but his talent was recognized by true heads of the rap shit for his hyped up insane style on records and on stage preformance...
This also marks the 1 year anniversary of UGH member Pimp C who passed away this same day last year...We love you and will miss you both... R.I.P. Arty... DJ Premier
Source: Unofficial DJ Premier Blog
Damn, nobody saw this... And D.I.T.C. was last week in LiveFromHQ... R.I.P.
Famous appearance: 2 tracks on Show & AG's "Goodfellas" (1995) 1 track on late Big L's "Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous" (1995) 4 tracks on Show & AG's "Full Scale LP" (1998) Buncha tracks on AG's "The Dirty Version" (1999) and so on and on...
I had this a couple of weeks already, but since yesterday it is leaked by DJ Premier to promote so I can share this: the album version of Blaq Poet's "Ain't Nuttin' Changed". Blaq Poet - Ain't Nuttin' Changed (Prod. by DJ Premier)
I wanted to let you know their will be a video of Blaq Poet's first single "Ain't Nuttin' Changed" for his next project. The video is recorded two weeks ago in Queensbridge and will hit this month the net!
DJ Premier recorded with Capone-N-Noreaga in october a new song called "Grand Loyal". It's for their next LP "Channel 10" that will be released in early 2009. The song became after Blaq Poet wanted Noreaga on his "Tha Blaqprint" album (on the song "Hey"). In exchange DJ Premier recorded with Capone-N-Noreaga. Maybe a new classic like we all remember "Invincible"!
Oh, and the beat that was used for that track is a rejected beat by Rakim.
To keep this blog alive I'll also post stuff when I feel to it that is close to preem. We all like that raw boombap sound of Premier that made him famous in our hip hop world. But there are also other producers that can make such sound, like Alchemist for example. But I'm not going to post Alchemist joints, I'm going to keep it more on an underground level. Also notice a lot of the tracks will not only be from the US. So...
!! IF THERE IS THE WORD "PREEMISH" IN FRONT OF THE POST TITLE MEANS THAT IT'S NOT PRODUCED BY DJ PREMIER !!
Here is a canadian MC with also producer and scratching skills. This track was from his debut album "Get Some Friends" back in 2006 that was only released in Canada. The producer is himself and he also did the cuts on this one. It's featured by Mr. Bix.
