My personal favorite was statik Selektah`s Stick To The Script. This is a great album. I also really liked the Q-Tip album.

He only picked Luda cause he worked with him but he shoulda put Reks, The Game and that Nas in there and that Termanology was mad disapointing

i grew up on primo,but let's be real,big shug on his best day,wayne on his most sober day could not top nas on his worse.shit the nigger mixtape is fucking with most album's on that list.

I'm feeling the list and I'm glad that you gave Black Milk honorable mention cause he did have one of the best albums of 2008.
meh this is no top 20, this is primo promoting/pluging his work in 2008. top 10 is enough but it had to be top 20 because primo worked on over half those albums from 11-20 so yeah pretty obvious. before i looked on the list i thought i bet luda would be high up... no guesses why, had Nas had primo produce on Untitled he would be there too. the game is a hustle, no hate so keep pushing
i respect premo more than probably anybody in hip-hop, but preme really needs to put more thought into these lists, shit's just aint thorough enough.. i know everybody got they own opinion and shit, but it just seems like preme made this list and just forgot about a buncha albums.. he did the same shit last year too.. this year, there was no mention of dj muggs vs planet asia 'pain language', elzhi 'the preface', chaundon 'carnage', reef the lost cauze 'a vicious cycle,' jedi mind tricks 'a history of violence', joe budden 'padded room', dj babu 'duck season vol 3',immortal technique 'the 3rd world', pacewon & mr. green 'the only color that matters is green', 9th wonder & buckshot 'the formula', the roots 'rising down', pete rock 'ny's finest', mighty joseph 'empire state', j-live 'then what happened?', or any of the sha stimuli tapes that although they were mixtapes, were better than most albums specifically 'march on washington' and 'hotter than july'. of course, i'm not sayin all those albums should make the list.. maybe he was disappointed with pete rock or wasnt lovin the roots album.. but there's definitely some shit he forgot about, like elzhi and dj babu.. i like that he put evidence so high on the list tho.. emc was album of the year for me.. wanye just dont belong there at all, i dont care what anybody says.. i'm not a wayne hater, but his album just wasnt that great.. p brothers is the only album he mentioned i havent heard; i dl'd it and forgot to listen to so i cant judge that one.. cube, craig g, 88 keys, ill bill all put out solid albums but i wouldnt of put them in top 20 over black milk, elzhi, nas, dj babu, and a buncha others.. and trick trick's album was just ok at best, no where near deserving honorable mention.. anyways, most of the albums he mentioned i was a fan of, so i'm not that mad at this list, it just seems like he forgot some shit. and my top 3 are emc, evidence, and statik selektah. so at least i'm in agreement with preme over the 2 and 3 spots.

The Nigger Tape is borderline classic.
But Untitled was a huge disappointment.
The Madlib WLIB album was fire as well.
Gamble On Ya Life & The Thang-Thang
are by far the best tracks o that album.
Premo has a Big Shug album in there every year...lmao.
Best 3 albums of the year were Elzhi's "The Prelude", the Johnson & Jonson joint and Pacewon & Mr Green's "The Only Color That Matters is Green".
How none of these appeared on Preem's list is beyond me...

I forgot about the Kidz In The Hall's album "The In Crowd". One of the 2008 best albums as well.
